The companies selling visibility
are invisible in AI search.
We audited eight leading SEO agencies and AI visibility platforms using the Jonomor 50-point AI Visibility framework. The results are not what you would expect from firms whose entire business is discoverability.
The average score across all eight domains: 26 out of 50 — Fragmented. The largest platform in the category, Semrush, scored 16/50. No Organization schema. No Person schema. No sameAs URLs. Zero Continuous Signal Surfaces.
Jonomor 48/50 · Gap to nearest competitor (WebFX): 13 points · Semrush — the category's largest tool — scores 16/50
What this means
Search engines rank documents. AI answer engines retrieve entities. These are different systems with different signals. A company can dominate traditional SEO rankings and be completely invisible to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini — because those systems do not read rankings. They read entity graphs, schema architecture, and cross-domain authority signals.
Every domain scored above failed on the same categories: no Person schema for the founder, no declared parent-child product relationships, no sameAs URLs connecting the entity to external identity profiles. These are not advanced optimizations. They are the baseline. Without them, AI systems cannot form a coherent entity representation — and they will not recommend what they cannot recognize.
